Kejuaraan kedua Jim Clark mencakup enam kemenangan yang diinterupsi hanya oleh non-start di Monaco sementara ia pergi memenangkan Indianapolis 500. Formula Satu musim 1965 merupakan musim Kejuaraan Dunia FIA Formula Satu yang ke-16, yang dimulai pada tanggal 1 Januari 1965, dan berakhir pada tanggal 24 Oktober setelah sepuluh lomba. Di musim ini juga digelar beberapa balapan non-kejuaraan yang melengkapi lomba-lomba resmi. Tampil sebagai juara dunia adalah Jim Clark. Sementara gelar juara dunia konstruktor berhasil diraih oleh tim tim Lotus.[1]

Jim Clark berhasil memenangkan gelar Kejuaraan Dunia Pembalap untuk yang kedua dan terakhir kalinya, dengan mengemudikan mobil untuk tim Lotus-Climax.

Ringkasan musim

Kejuaraan kedua Jim Clark mencakup enam kemenangan yang diinterupsi hanya oleh non-start di Monaco sementara ia pergi memenangkan Indianapolis 500. Jackie Stewart berada di urutan ketiga dalam kejuaraan di musim debutnya dan Richie Ginther memenangkan satu-satunya, dan yang pertama bagi Honda, Grand Prix di balapan terakhir formula 1,5 liter.
