Marcel "Marco" van Basten (pelafalan dalam bahasa Belanda: [ˈmɑrkoː vɑn ˈbɑstə(n)] ⓘ; lahir 31 Oktober 1964) adalah seorang mantan pemain sepak bola asal Belanda yang bermain untuk Ajax dan AC Milan, serta tim nasional Belanda. Dianggap sebagai salah satu pesepakbola terbaik dunia, ia mencetak 300 gol dalam kariernya yang terkenal, namun memainkan pertandingan terakhir pada tahun 1993, pada usia 28 tahun, karena sebuah cedera pergelangan kaki yang memaksanya mengumumkan pengunduran dirinya dua tahun kemudian.

Dia dianggap sebagai salah satu pemain terbaik di dunia dan telah mencetak kurang lebih 300 gol selama kariernya, namun karena menderita cedera, ia memainkan pertandingan terakhir pada tahun 1993 ketika usia 28, cedera tersebut memaksanya pensiun dua tahun kemudian.[4] Ia kemudian menjadi pelatih kepala Ajax, tim nasional Belanda, Heerenveen, dan AZ Alkmaar.
