Biografi

Dumas adalah seorang Katolik taat yang sering mempertahankan pandangan Kristen melawan para kritikus.[2]
Dumas meninggal di Cannes pada 1884, dan dimakamkan di Pemakaman Montparnasse, Paris, dalam sebuah makam besar di dekat tembok belakang. Namanya menjadi salah satu dari 72 nama yang dituliskan pada menara Eiffel.
