Sylvia Plath (27 Oktober 1932 – 11 Februari 1963) adalah seorang penyair, novelis, dan cerpenis, asal Amerika Serikat. Paling dikenal sebagai seorang penyair, Plath juga dikenal The Bell Jar, novel semi-autobiografinya yang menceritakan perjuangan melawan depresi. Plath dan Anne Sexton dianggap mengembangkan aliran puisi konfesional yang diciptakan Robert Lowell dan W.D. Snodgrass. Sejak kejadian bunuh dirinya, Sylvia Plath telah menjadi seorang ikon dan dianggap sebagai salah satu penyair terbesar pada generasinya.
