Oksitosin (bahasa Yunani: (ŏk'sĭ-tō'sĭn), kelahiran cepat) (bahasa Inggris: oxytocin, OT, pitocin, syntocinon) adalah hormon pada manusia yang berfungsi untuk merangsang kontraksi yang kuat pada dinding rahim/uterus sehingga mempermudah dalam membantu proses kelahiran.
Prekursor oksitosin bernama oksitosin-neurofisin bahasa Inggris: oxytosin-neurophysin, OT-Np) disintesa di dalam kelenjar hipotalamus.[1]
