Susan Cain (lahir 1968) adalah seorang penulis dan pembicara asal Amerika Serikat. Ia merupakan penulis buku nonfiksi tahun 2012 berjudul Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking, yang berisi pendapat bahwa budaya Barat modern tidak paham dan merendahkan sifat dan kemampuan orang-orang introvert.

Karier awal

Cain lulus dari Universitas Princeton[4] dan Harvard Law School.[6] Setelah itu ia bekerja sebagai jaksa, lalu konsultan negosiasi[2] sekaligus pemilik dan ketua The Negotiation Company.[8] Cain adalah anggota Woodhull Institute for Ethical Leadership, sebuah organisasi pendidikan nirlaba.[8]

Cain mengakhiri kariernya di bidang hukum korporat dan konsultasi untuk mencari kehidupan yang lebih tenang sambil menulis di rumah bersama keluarganya.[9] Ia kemudian menulis bahwa masa kerjanya di Wall Street "rasanya sama seperti berada di luar negeri."[10]
