Supercharger (juga dikenal dengan blower), adalah sebuah kompresor gas yang digunakan untuk memompa udara ke silinder mesin pembakaran dalam. Massa oksigen tambahan yang dipaksa masuk ke silinder membuat mesin membakar lebih banyak bahan bakar, dan meningkatkan efisiensi volumetrik mesin dan membuatnya lebih bertenaga. Sebuah supercharger ditenagai secara mekanik oleh sabuk-puli, rantai-sproket, maupun mekanisme roda gigi dari poros engkol mesin.

Supercharger mirip dengan turbocharger, tetapi turbocharger ditenagai oleh arus gas keluaran mesin (exhaust) yang mendorong turbin. Supercharger dapat menyerap sebanyak sepertiga tenaga crankshaft mesin dan dalam banyak aplikasi kurang efisien daripada turbocharger. Dalam aplikasi di mana tenaga besar lebih penting dari pertimbangan lain, seperti dragster top fuel dan kendaraan digunakan dalam kompetisi tractor pull, supercharger sangat umum.
