Perang Kargil, juga disebut Konflik Kargil, adalah konflik bersenjata antara India dan Pakistan yang terjadi antara Mei dan Juli 1999 di distrik Kargil, Kashmir. Penyebab perang ini adalah masuknya pasukan Pakistan dan militan Kashmir ke wilayah India pada Line of Control, yang merupakan perbatasan de facto antara kedua negara. Segera setelah perang, Pakistan menyalahkan pertempuran ini seluruhnya terhadap pemberontak Kashmir. Angkatan Bersenjata India, didukung oleh Angkatan Udara India, menyerang posisi Pakistan, dengan bantuan diplomatik internasional, yang memaksa mundurnya Pakistan.
