Grand Prix Sepeda Motor musim 1962 adalah musim ke-14 Grand Prix Sepeda Motor F.I.M.. Musim terdiri dari sebelas balapan Grand Prix di enam kelas: 500cc, 350cc, 250cc, 125cc, 50cc dan Sidecars 500cc. Itu dimulai pada 6 Mei, dengan Grand Prix Spanyol dan diakhiri dengan Grand Prix Argentina pada tanggal 14 Oktober. Juara dunia bertahan 350cc dan 500cc Gary Hocking sangat terpengaruh oleh kematian temannya, Tom Phillis di Isle of Man TT 1962 dan, mengumumkan pengunduran dirinya dari balap motor setelah memenangkan Senior TT 1962.[1] Rekan setim Hocking di MV Agusta, Mike Hailwood memenangkan kejuaraan dunia 500cc pertamanya.[2]

Poin diberikan kepada enam finis teratas di setiap balapan. Hanya yang terbaik dari enam balapan yang dihitung dalam kejuaraan 50cc, 125cc, 250cc, terbaik dari lima di kejuaraan 350cc dan 500cc, sementara di Sidecars, empat balapan terbaik dihitung.
