Messier 58 atau M58 (juga disebut NGC 4579) adalah sebuah galaksi spiral berbatang yang terletak di rasi bintang Virgo, 68 juta tahun cahaya dari bumi.[5][6] M58 ditemukan oleh Charles Messier pada tanggal 15 April 1779 dan termasuk satu dari empat galaksi spiral berbatang yang terdapat di Katalog Messier.[7][8][9][10][11][12] M58 adalah satu dari galaksi terang di Cluster Virgo.[10][13]
