Jane Seymour, OBE (lahir Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg; 15 Februari 1951) adalah seorang aktris Britania-Amerika yang dikenal berkat perannya dalam film James Bond Live and Let Die (1973), Somewhere In Time (1980), East of Eden (1981), Onassis: The Richest Man in the World (1988), War and Remembrance (1988), epik Prancis La Révolution française (1989) sebagai ratu bernasib-sial Marie Antoinette, Wedding Crashers (2005), dan serial televisi Amerika Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (1993–1998). Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg dilahirkan pada 15 Februari 1951[3] di Hayes, Middlesex, Inggris, putri pasangan Mieke (van Tricht), seorang perawat, dan John Benjamin Frankenberg, seorang dokter kandungan.[4][5] Ayahnya adalah orang Yahudi; ia lahir di Inggris, dari keluarga asal Polandia (Desa Nowe Trzepowo).[6] Ibunya adalah Protestan Belanda (dengan keluarga dari Deventer) yang merupakan tahanan perang selama Perang Dunia II, dan pernah tinggal di Indonesia.[7][8][9] Kakek dari ayah Jane pernah tinggal di East End of London setelah melarikan diri dari pogrom pasukan Czar saat berusia 14 tahun. Dia terdaftar dalam sensus 1911 pada Bethnal Green, bekerja sebagai penata rambut, dan akhirnya melanjutkan untuk memiliki usahanya sendiri.[10]

Seymour bersekolah di Arts Educational School di Tring, Hertfordshire. Ia memiliki nama panggung "Jane Seymour" dari istri ketiga Raja Henry VIII, karena terlihat lebih menjual.[7]

Pernikahan pertamanya, dengan Michael Attenborough, putra aktor dan sutradara film Richard Attenborough, berlangsung dari tahun 1971 sampai 1973.[4]

Pernikahan keduanya, dengan teman Attenborough Geoffrey Planer, berlangsung dari tahun 1977 sampai 1978.[4]

Pada tahun 1981, Seymour menikahi David Flynn. Pernikahan tersebut menghasilkan dua anak, aktris Katherine Flynn, lahir pada 7 Januari 1982, dan Sean Flynn, lahir pada tanggal 31 Juli 1985. Flynn adalah seorang manajer bisnis yang membuatnya terlibat dalam pasar perumahan, yang membuatnya "benar-benar bangkrut".[12] Pasangan ini bercerai tahun 1992.[4]

Pada tahun 1993, Seymour menikahi aktor James Keach. Bersama-sama mereka memiliki anak kembar, John Stacy dan Kristopher Steven, lahir pada 30 November 1995, dan dinamai menurut nama teman keluarga Johnny Cash dan Christopher Reeve, dan saudara laki-laki James, aktor Stacy Keach.[1] Pada tanggal 12 April 2013 pasangan tersebut mengumumkan bahwa mereka telah bercerai.[13] Perceraian tersebut selesai pada Desember 2015.[14]

Seymour adalah duta selebriti untuk Childhelp, sebuah organisasi nirlaba nasional yang didedikasikan untuk membantu korban penganiayaan dan pengabaian anak.[16] Pada tahun 2007, dia mensponsori kontes Bantal Seni anak-anak sebagai bagian dari Koleksi Jane Seymour, dengan hasilnya masuk ke Childhelp.[17]
