Republik Sosialis Soviet Abkhazia (RSS Abkhazia)[a] adalah sebuah republik jangka pendek di kawasan Kaukasus, Uni Soviet yang meliputi teritorial Abkhazia, dan berdiri dari 31 Maret 1921 sampai 19 Februari 1931. Dibentuk setelah invasi Georgia oleh Tentara Merah pada 1921, negara tersebut menjadi independen sampai 16 Desember 1921, saat negara tersebut menyepakati sebuah perjanjian yang menyatukannya dengan Republik Sosialis Soviet Georgia (RSS Georgia). RSS Abkhazia sebagian besar mirip dengan republik Soviet otonom, meskipun masih merdeka secara de facto dari Georgia, yang hanya diberikan hak republik uni, seperti memiliki unit-unit militernya sendiri. Disamping statusnya sebagai "republik traktat" dengan Georgia, Abkhazia bergabung dengan Republik Sosialis Federatif Soviet Transkaukasia, yang menyatukan RSS Armenia, Azerbaijan, dan Georgia dalam satu unit federal, saat dibentuk pada 1922. RSS Abkhazia dibubarkan pada 1931 dan digantikan dengan Republik Sosialis Soviet Otonom Abkhaz pada RSS Georgia.
