Operasi Penaklukan atau Operasi Fatah adalah serangan terhadap posisi Negara Islam Irak dan Syam (NIIS) di Mosul dan wilayah sekitarnya. Serangan ini merupakan upaya bersama oleh pasukan pemerintah Irak dengan milisi sekutu, pemerintah Kurdistan Irak, Kristen Asiria lokal, Yazidi, Turkmen Irak, dan milisi Armenia, serta dukungan udara dan pasukan darat terbatas Amerika Serikat dan Britania Raya. Tujuan operasi, bagian dari intervensi militer melawan NIIS, adalah untuk mengondisikan pertempuran mendatang untuk mendesak NIIS keluar dari kota terbesar kedua di Irak, serta sisa lainnya di Kegubernuran Nineveh.[52][53][54][55][56]
