Barbonymus adalah sebuah genus ikan bersirip kipas dalam famili Cyprinidae. Genus ini baru dideskripsikan pada tahun 1999, dengan ikan Tengadak (Barbonymus schwanenfeldii) sebagai spesies tipenya.
