Ficus fistulosa [1] adalah spesies pohon ara Asia dalam keluarga Moraceae . Di Indonesia ia lebih umum dikenal dengan nama ara benying. Tidak ada subspesies yang terdaftar dalam Katalog Kehidupan ; [2] daerah asalnya adalah Assam hingga Taiwan, Indo-China, Malesia, dan New Guinea. [3] Spesies ini dapat ditemukan di Vietnam: yang umum umum dikenal oleh masyarakat Vietnam sebagai sung giòn . [4] Tanaman ini bersifat dwirumah, dengan bunga jantan dan betina dihasilkan pada individu yang terpisah.[5]
