2013 menandai kompetisi 100 tahun dari Bollywood.[1] Tahun tersebut juga menandai rilisnya beberapa film beranggaran besar dalam Bollywood meliputi sejumlah sekuel dan sekuel kuasi. Beberapa sekuel yang terkenal adalah: Aashiqui 2, Dhoom 3, Grand Masti, Krrish 3, Murder 3, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai 2, Race 2, Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, Shootout at Wadala, Satya 2 dan Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 .[2][3]
