Skripsi, bahkan paper, dapat dijadikan rujukan, asalkan ditulis mengikuti kaidah ilmiah. Skripsi sudah diawasi pembuatannya oleh dosen pembimbing (supervisor), jadi seharusnya tidak ada masalah. Bagaimanapun, kata-kata bernada subjektif harus dihindari di Wikipedia, apa pun sumbernya. Kembangraps (bicara) 12:36, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

Riset asli tidak diperkenankan di Wikipedia. Walaupun itu penelitian/makalahnya sendiri atau bahkan buku yang ia tulis sendiri, tidak bisa sang penulis sendiri yang menuliskannya di Wikipedia.

Kalau skripsi atau buku sudah diterbitkan menurut saya boleh saja. WP:OR itu sebenarnya melarang riset yang belum dinilai oleh pihak lain, alias menjadikan Wikipedia sebagai tempat pertama kali buat menerbitkan hasil penelitiannya. Gombang (bicara) 13:46, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Tulisan Al-Farabi dalam Bahasa Inggris sudah jauh berkembang. Mungkin kita bisa mengupdate versi Bahasa Indonesia dengan mengacu ke sana.
