Sebenarnya Bangkalan berpotensi untuk maju mengikuti kabupaten2 yang lain. Sumber daya alam bukanlah satu-satunya cara untuk memakmurkan rakyat, tapi masih banyak sektor lain yang harus di perjuangkan dengan serius. ada beberapa rumusan untuk Bankalan menjadi maju : 1. Membuat access yang baik menuju propinsi, salahsatunya jumbatan harus jadi 2. Memindahkan sektor pendukung industri, dalam artian pelabuhan yang baik 3. Pemanfaatan anggaran yang baik ( menekan sekuat mungkin korupsi) karna minimnya anggaran, atau yang lajim di sebut good Governounce 4. Peningkatan 65% SDM masayarakat, dan 5. Mengeluarakan biaya yang relevan untuk tenaga ahli, guna membuka sistim perekonomian kerakyatan.
