Bulukumba termasuk kabupaten yang sangat maju baik dibidang kelautan,pertanian dan wisata, untuk kelautan dan perikanan cukup indah dan kayadengan hasil lautnya cuma peranan kantor perikanan tidak berpunsi sebagaimana mestinya,dan mengenai pertanian cukup berhasil dibidangnya,kalau soal wisata yang berhasil cuma bira dan pinisinya tapi belum terbenahi soal pinggir pantainya contohnya pasar teradisionil pasar cekkeng yang kelihatan semrawut, padahal lebih indah bila dikembalikan seperti dahulu dimana tidak ada bangunan pasar yang tidak teratur
untuk pemerintah setempat kembalikan seperti dulu dimana penjualnya duduk sambil jualan dan setelah selesai tempat tersebut bersih serta tempat yang tadinya namanya pasar cekkeng jadi benar-benar pasar cekkeng dan kita bisa melihat laut setelah pasar bubar, bukan cuma tertuju ke pasar.
