I am delighted to write this letter on behalf of Ivonne Kristiani, to outline her significant contribution as a participant in "Bebaskan Pengetahuan 2010" (Free Your Knowledge 2010), a writing competition in Indonesian language Wikipedia with Wikimedia Indonesian from April 1 to June 16, 2010.

The "Bebaskan Pengetahuan 2010" (BP2010) is a three month program developed by Wikimedia Indonesia to leverage public participation to improve Indonesian language Wikipedia articles. It is a pilot project to introduce the Wikimedia mission "Free Knowledge" worldwide. The ultimate goal is to provide an open source of information for everyone. The competition targets talented young writers from Universities and partners with mainstream media. By providing information and inspiring discourse, Wikimedia is hoping to promote a stronger demand for improved information and increased community participation from the local to national level.

Ivonne was introduced to the program by her lecturer, and after being filtered internally, her participation was then confirmed. Each University is permitted to submit no more than nine of their best students as participants to compete on behalf of the University. As one of the chosen nine, Ivonne competed on behalf of the Faculty of Management and Business majoring Hotel Management at BINUS University. According to the Project Director supervisor Siska Doviana, during her three months competition, Ivonne has been one of the exceptional participants, she has been very productive, a fast learner, and detailed oriented in her writing. The Jury awarded her a high score for her articles: "Fondue" and "Cheesecake", and some of positive feedback he receives from the Jury were "detailed", "her writing style were short and smart", and "excellent culinary articles".

Ivonne successfully wrote 182 (one hundred and eighty-two) high quality articles within 72 days of competition. Ivonne's long and short articles were consistent, covering specific culinary topics of cheese and its derivative products. The highlight of Ivonne participation would be her achievement progressing from a fifth place position in second round to third position in third round and surpasses others (out of an initial 90 participants). Ivonne received a laptop as an acknowledgment for her contribution, handed over by Indonesia's Directorate General of Telematics Application from the Ministry of Informatics and Technology: Ashwin Sasongko. Ivonne also successfully complete the demanding three month competition.

We would like to congratulate Ivonne for her achievement and her tireless work to improving and creating articles. Wikimedia wishes her success in her future endeavors.
