Yohan Limerta (born in Jakarta, 14 November 1988) is a CTO and Co-founder of Cakap.
Yohan is a graduate of Melbourne Institute of Business and Technology, Deakin University, and Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College. Currently,
Yohan serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Cakap, an online learning platform aimed at improving language and vocational skills.
Career[sunting | sunting sumber]
Yohan Limerta, along with Tomy Yunus, met while studying at Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College (BLCC) in Beijing, Cina. After returning from their studies in Beijing, both of them returned home.
That's when they discovered that their peers were facing difficulties in finding an affordable place to learn Mandarin with the opportunity to be taught by native speakers.
This became the reason for them to found an online application named Squline, and transformed to Cakap in 2019.
With this innovation, Cakap has achieved various awards, including: MURI Record Award as the First Online Language Learning Application with Direct Two-Way Interaction in Indonesia[1], winners of Singtel Future Makers 2018, Evangelist Telkomsel The Nextdev Academy 2018, Indonesian Pavilion (Archipelageek) SXSW Austin Texas 2018, Indonesian Pavilion (Archipelageek) InnoVex Taiwan 2018, Indonesian Pavilion (Archipelageek) CeBIT Sydney 2018, G Startup Worldwide GMIC Indonesia - The Global Mobile Internet Conference 2017.
