Ray Fisher (lahir 8 September 1987) adalah seorang aktor televisi, film dan teater asal Amerika Serikat. Dikenal secara luas ketika memerankan tokoh Superhero Victor Stone / Cyborg di waralaba media DC Extended Universe, pertama muncul sebagai kameo di film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), kemudian menjadi salah satu pemeran utama di film Justice League (2017) dan Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021). Di televisi, dia berperan di musim ketiga dari Serial Drama True Detective dan miniseri Women of the Movement. Dia mendapatkan debut di Broadway pada tahun 2022 pada pementasan The Piano Lesson.

Kehidupan awal[sunting | sunting sumber]

Ray Fisher lahir di Kota Baltimore, negara bagian Maryland pada tanggal 8 September 1987.[1][2] Dia tumbuh besar di Kota Lawnside, New Jersey, dimana dia diasuh oleh ibu dan neneknya.[3] Fisher bersekolah di SMA Haddon Heights High School.[4] Dia kemudian pernah bekerja di Bioskop Cinemark di Kota Somerdale, New York.

Tahun 2008, Fisher memerankan Dr. Marcus Blake di teatrikal musikal Attorney for the Damned, yang dipentaskan di Teater Kraine.[5] Di tahun ini juga dia berperan di pementasan William Shakespeare's Macbeth di Teater Shakespeare Madison, New Jersey di Drew University.[6] Pada tahun 2010, Fisher mendapatkan peran kecil di pementasan Fetch Clay, Make Man.[7] He performed as part of the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, where he starred in a production of the play To Kill a Mockingbird.[8][9] He also performed in the Oregon Shakespeare Festival's productions of the plays King Lear and Cymbeline.[8] Fisher portrayed boxer Muhammad Ali in the 2013 off-Broadway production of the play Fetch Clay, Make Man at the New York Theatre Workshop in New York City, gaining 20 pounds of muscle and going from 193 to 212 pounds.[10]

Pada tahun 2016, Fisher mendapatkan penampilan kameo sebagai tokoh superhero Victor Stone / Cyborg di film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.[11] Dia kemudian memerankannya kembali di film Justice League (2017). [3] [12] Di 2021, dia kembali memerankan Cyborg di Zack Snyder's Justice League.[13]
