The Northern Echo merupakan surat kabar harian pagi regional, yang bermarkas di kota Darlington di Timur Laut Inggris; melayani County Durham dan Teesside. Surat kabar tersebut menyoroti berita secara nasional dan regional. Surat kabar tersebut merupakan salah satu surat kabar paling terkenal di Britania Raya.[2] Edisi pertama surat kabar tersebut diterbitkan pada 1 Januari 1870.
