ABC Australia didirikan tahun 1993, dengan 15 personel pekerja negara. Tahun 2002, nama ini diganti dengan ABC Asia Pacific. hal ini diprakarsai oleh Alexander Downer.
Sahamnya dipegang oleh Australian Broadcasting Corporation[1] dan menjangaku lebih dari 50 negara di Asia Pasifik
Sejarah
1993–2001
Uji coba Australia Television dilakukan. Australia Television diluncurkan tahun 1998. Dengan pemakai lebih dari 1 juta orang, Banyak tayangan yang sangat bagus.
2001–2006
Pada tahun 2001, ABC resmi memenangkan gugatan ekonomi. Maka Australia Television digantikan oleh ABC Asia Pacific. Dengan begitu, ABC mengeluarkan logo untuk ABC Asia Pacific: logo dan font yang sama seperti logo resmi ABC. Tahun 2002, mengimpor berita dari Sky News Australia.
2006–2014
Pada tahun 2005, terjadi penggantian tender sehingga mengakhiri program berita dari Sky News dan memproduksi berita sendiri di bawah naungan Australia Network News. Dengan dilakukannya relaunch pada tanggal 1 Agustus 2006, tanggal tersebut merupakan hari jadi Australia Network.
