Genetta cristata adalah sebuah spesies Genetta yang menjadi endemik di Nigeria dan Kamerun. Karena populasinya menurun karena akibat kehilangan habitat, spesies tersebut dinyatakan sebagai spesies rentan pada IUCN Red List.[2] Spesies tersebut pertama kali ditemukan di Divisi Mamfe, Kamerun dan awalnya dianggap sebagai subspesies Genetta servalina.[3] Namun sekarang spesies tersebut dianggap sebagai sebuah spesies terpisah.[4]
