Heksana adalah sebuah senyawa hidrokarbon alkana dengan rumus kimia C6H14 (isomer utama n-heksana memiliki rumus CH3(CH2)4CH3). Awalan heks- merujuk pada enam karbon atom yang terdapat pada heksana dan akhiran -ana berasal dari alkana, yang merujuk pada ikatan tunggal yang menghubungkan atom-atom karbon tersebut. Seluruh isomer heksana amat tidak reaktif, dan sering digunakan sebagai pelarut organik yang inert. Heksana juga umum terdapat pada bensin dan lem sepatu, kulit dan tekstil.

Dalam keadaan standar senyawa ini merupakan cairan tak berwarna yang tidak larut dalam air.

Heksana diproduksi oleh kilang-kilang minyak mentah. Komposisi dari fraksi yang mengandung heksana amat bergantung kepada sumber minyak, maupun keadaan kilang. Produk industri biasanya memiliki 50%-berat isomer rantai lurus, dan merupakan fraksi yang mendidih pada 65–70 °C.
