Kriobiologi (bahasa Yunani: cryo, "dingin"; bios, "kehidupan"; logos, "ilmu") adalah cabang biologi yang mempelajari pengaruh suhu rendah pada makhluk hidup.[1] Pada praktiknya, kriobiologi mempelajari materi atau sistem biologis pada suhu di bawah normal. Materi atau sistem yang dipelajari antara lain protein, sel, jaringan, organ, serta organisme. Suhu dapat berkisar antara kondisi hipotermia moderat hingga suhu kriogenik.
