Convention against Torture di Wikisource

Konvensi Menentang Penyiksaan dan Perlakuan atau Penghukuman Lain yang Kejam, Tidak Manusiawi, atau Merendahkan Martabat Manusia[6] (bahasa Inggris: Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment), yang lebih umum disebut sebagai Konvensi Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa Menentang Penyiksaan (bahasa Inggris: United Nations Convention against Torture, UNCAT) adalah sebuah traktat hak asasi manusia internasional, di bawah naungan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa, yang ditujukan untuk menghindari penyiksaan dan perlakuan atau hukuman lain yang kejam, tidak manusiawi, dan merendahkan martabat manusia di seluruh dunia. Konvensi tersebut mewajibkan negara-negara untuk mengambil tindakan efektif untuk menghindari penyiksaan di wilayah manapun yang berada di bawah yurisdiksi mereka, dan melarang negara-negara untuk mendeportasi seseorang ke suatu negara apabila terdapat alasan-alasan yang kuat untuk meyakini bahwa orang tersebut dapat menjadi korban penyiksaan di negara tersebut.
